Omani technology leader ITHCA Group has announced a strategic partnership with Yango, a global technology company, to officially launch the Yango ecosystem in the Sultanate of Oman.

This partnership aims to introduce cutting-edge digital solutions and AI-powered services that support Oman’s ambitions to fast-track digital transformation and drive long-term sustainable economic growth.

Acquisition of OTaxi Completed

As part of this strategic launch, ITHCA Group and Yango have completed the acquisition of OTaxi, the Omani ride-hailing platform.

 Coordinated with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT), the acquisition focuses on upgrading OTaxi’s technical infrastructure—enhancing service speed, accuracy, accessibility, and scalability.

The goal is to expand OTaxi’s operations across all governorates in Oman and diversify its offerings to include home delivery, vehicle rentals, smart mapping, and more.

These upgrades aim to elevate the platform to global standards and position Oman as a forward-looking digital economy.

Supporting Oman Vision 2040

The launch is aligned with Oman Vision 2040, reinforcing national digital transformation efforts and complementing government programs aimed at economic diversification and digital empowerment.

Through a stable regulatory environment and strategic initiatives, the partnership delivers AI-driven services across various sectors in full coordination with local infrastructure and regulations to align with national priorities.
