LEAP Conference 2024 in Riyadh: Embracing New Horizons in Technology

The third edition of the prominent LEAP (Leading Edge in Advanced Progress) Conference is set to take place in the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh, from March 4th to 7th, 2024, under the theme “New Horizons.” Over 1,800 exhibiting entities from leading global technology companies are expected to participate.

Organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Saudi Federation for Cyber Security, Programming, and Drones, and the Alliance Company, in collaboration with the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at), the conference will feature a distinguished lineup of experts and speakers.

The third iteration of LEAP comprises various platforms and theaters, including the main stage discussing topics like “Web 3,” strategies of leading tech companies, and user privacy in technology. Additionally, specialized theaters will cover education, e-commerce, financial technology, healthcare, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, future energy, and smart cities.

Commenting on the significance of this edition, Engineer Haitham Al-Awahli, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology, emphasized the pivotal role of generative artificial intelligence in both economic and social spheres, highlighting the conference’s ten theaters covering all technological aspects, including health, education, and e-commerce.

Meanwhile, Mutaib Al-Qunni, CEO of the Saudi Federation for Cyber Security, Programming, and Drones, stressed the conference’s importance in offering a unique experience to visitors, promising to host key global technical speakers and experts.

Al-Qunni added that LEAP was created to have a significant impact on the global technology field, anticipating fruitful investments and agreements resulting from the participation of major tech companies, startups, and investors under one roof.

For the second time, the “Deep Fest” platform, in partnership with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), will be part of the LEAP Conference, featuring over 150 speakers and more than 120 exhibiting entities, addressing different AI topics each day.

The agenda of the first day will focus on the origins and evolution of artificial intelligence, while the second day will delve into current achievements and their impact. The third day will explore the role of innovations and emerging technologies in AI, concluding with discussions on the future of AI and its prospects.

LEAP returns for its third edition following the resounding success of its previous iterations, with over a thousand speakers, more than 600 startups, and an expected attendance of over 172,000 visitors.
