CEOs and experts participate in the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2024
CEOs and business experts emphasized that building long-term strategies, leveraging modern digital platforms, and having the ability to adapt to crises and changes are crucial factors for the success of entrepreneurs and ensuring their transition to the next stage of achievement and excellence.
This came during a panel discussion titled “Tough Times, Strong Leaders: Leadership Principles in Challenging Circumstances” as part of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2024 organized by the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center “Sheraa” under the theme “Together, We Shape the Future” at the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park.
The session hosted Ahmed Al Kheshibi, CEO of Arada Real Estate Development Company, Adel Ali, CEO of Air Arabia Group, Dr. Aisha bin Bishr, Global Digital Transformation Expert, and Ahmed Abu Ayeda, CEO of Investment Bank.
Adel Ali said: “An entrepreneur should always consider the worst-case scenarios before starting in order to prepare to deal with all scenarios. Today, we live in a highly challenging and changing world, and here the importance of strategies and ideal vision for the institution emerges.”
Ali added: “In times of crises, we consider the worst-case scenarios to train the team to deal with such possibilities.
An entrepreneur must be flexible to adopt data reliance, which is considered a huge asset today.”
Dr. Aisha bin Bishr stressed the importance of entrepreneurs’ flexibility in dealing with developments and transformations, and the necessity of adopting data as a growth engine.
Meanwhile, Ahmed Abu Ayeda said: “The element of surprise is one of the most important elements that entrepreneurs must understand how to deal with in a state of uncertainty.”
Ahmed Al Kheshibi spoke about the importance of long-term strategies and how they play a vital role in achieving the sustainability of entrepreneurs, emphasizing the importance of diversification in the real estate market.
The first day of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival witnessed an interactive session titled “Entrepreneurial Talk: A Dialogue with Entrepreneurship Legends” featuring Michael Lahyani, Rabih Ataya, and Ambrin Mousa.
