Noon Academy has announced the acquisition of almakhfi, a Saudi-based platform specializing in aptitude and achievement test preparation, as part of its strategy to strengthen its position in the digital education sector and expand its offerings for middle and high school students.
The acquisition reflects Noon Academy’s broader vision of enhancing its educational ecosystem by integrating innovative learning solutions and advanced technologies to enrich the student experience and improve digital learning outcomes.
Founded as a specialized platform for Qudurat and Tahsili exam preparation, almakhfi has supported more than 250,000 students over the past eight years, establishing itself as one of Saudi Arabia’s leading digital education initiatives.
The move follows Noon Academy’s successful Series B funding round of SAR 153 million, led by Wa’ed Ventures and Raed Ventures, which is supporting the company’s expansion plans and continued investment in AI-powered education technologies.
Noon Academy offers a comprehensive learning platform for middle and high school students, combining preparation for national standardized exams with future-focused skills development in English, programming, robotics, and drone technologies. The platform also leverages artificial intelligence and hands-on learning to better prepare students for the evolving job market.
The acquisition also underscores Noon Academy’s commitment to investing in local EdTech solutions and collaborating with emerging startups through the MVPLAB initiative, part of Saudi Arabia’s National Technology Development Program (NTDP), to advance the quality of digital education across the Kingdom.
