iSchool, a company specializing in coding and AI education, has announced the full acquisition of Rubikal, a software engineering firm.
The acquisition marks more than a commercial transaction, representing the culmination of a three-year engineering partnership, during which Rubikal played a key role as the technical arm behind building and scaling iSchool’s platforms.
Under the integration, Rubikal’s full engineering capabilities will be absorbed into iSchool, with key leadership appointments including:
- Eng. Mohamed Ibrahim, Co-founder of Rubikal, will assume the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
- Eng. Mostafa Badawy, Co-founder of Rubikal, will join as Vice President of Software Engineering
The move also brings on board a team of 21 software engineers, further strengthening iSchool’s growing technology division.
Rubikal brings extensive global experience, having delivered advanced technology solutions for major international companies such as Disney, Discovery, and Roadtrip Nation.
Its integration is expected to significantly enhance iSchool’s ability to build scalable, high-performance educational products.
Mohamed Gawish, Co-founder and CEO of iSchool, stated that the alignment between both teams has been evident from day one, adding that the acquisition will unify capabilities to build the AI infrastructure required for the schools of the future.
Mohamed Ibrahim, now CTO of iSchool, described the move as a transition from “building products to creating a fully integrated ecosystem that combines deep technical expertise with a clear educational vision.”
With more than 150,000 graduates across 20 countries, iSchool aims to leverage this acquisition to accelerate the development of its internal tools and AI-powered systems, reinforcing its position as a platform that combines strong educational content with technological innovation, with a particular focus on global government and enterprise partnerships.
