- Eventocity Announces Expansion into Arab Markets to Support AI-Powered Event Management and Marketing
- Plans to attract new audiences and introduce mechanisms to guide startups in boosting sales
Egyptian platform Eventocity , specialized in marketing and event management, is planning to expand its operations across Arab markets and the broader Middle East region.
In an exclusive interview with entArabi, Basmala Tarek, CEO of Eventocity , stated:
“We currently have a clear strategy to reshape the culture of event organization and corporate marketing using artificial intelligence technologies across Egyptian cities and governorates, in partnership with both the public and private sectors.”
Tarek explained that the platform’s strategy aims to attract new customer segments and provide advanced services that go beyond event planning.
The platform also advises companies on product development, promotional strategies, and sales enhancement.
Eventocity was launched three years ago and has since organized 26 events in collaboration with Egyptian universities and companies, including a Japanese firm through the “BRICS Education” program.
It has also managed graduation ceremonies in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The platform has ongoing partnerships with a number of universities, including Misr University, October 6 University, El Shorouk Academy, and the Canadian University, in addition to working with the Ministry of Youth and Sports on the “Pathfinder” program in Cairo’s Al-Asmarat district.
Furthermore, Eventocity collaborates with the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, affiliated with the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and International Cooperation.
This partnership focuses on youth empowerment, trainer development, and entrepreneurship support.
Program Expansion
Mohamed Walid, Co-Founder of the platform, stated that Eventocity plans to continue its “Business-In” program this May, with the fourth session titled “Automating Training”.
He added that the program is held biannually, with three previous editions focusing on artificial intelligence, the business sector, startups, and sales enablement.
The entire series is built on leveraging AI technologies.
Expansion Plans
Basmala Tarek emphasized that Eventocity has no fixed ceiling for regional expansion or for targeting specific entities or companies—especially after securing its initial funding round from Edafa Ventures Capital.
She revealed that this investment round includes a comprehensive restructuring of the company, both technically and institutionally.
This includes marketing operations, brand development, infrastructure enhancements, and support in entering Arab markets.
Tarek also noted that the partnership with Edafa will unlock access to its broad network of partners and contribute to launching a training academy aimed at equipping children and youth—aged 10 to 17—with entrepreneurial skills.
