Du launches new programmes to support entrepreneurs
Du, a subsidiary ofCompany, has launched new initiatives ai Emirates Integrated Telecommunications med at enhancing technological proficiency and fostering innovation among the youth in the United Arab Emirates.
These efforts align with the company’s commitment to digital transformation and youth empowerment.
As part of these initiatives, the “Du Youth Council” organized a dedicated robotics workshop for the children of Du employees.
This workshop is part of the “My Skills, My Trade” program, designed to support entrepreneurship by developing individual skills, offering opportunities to cultivate leadership and technological abilities in line with Du’s efforts to drive digital transformation.
The robotics workshop is a component of a certified program that aims to boost participants’ innovation skills through practical and interactive experiences in robotics.
The training was supervised by Emirati engineer Mohamed Al Shamsi, who has extensive expertise in this field.
Over two days, participants learned the fundamental principles of advanced technology, including robot design, internet connectivity, and troubleshooting robotic systems, providing them with a strong foundation in emerging technologies.
In addition to the robotics workshop, the “Du Youth Council” also launched the “My Skills, My Trade” program, an innovative educational platform aimed at developing youth skills by harnessing their entrepreneurial talents.
This platform promotes collaboration and skill-sharing among company members and offers them opportunities to earn financial rewards while encouraging self-reliance and the utilization of internal talents.
Through training sessions available both in-person and online, participants can showcase their skills within the company and in external educational institutions and other companies, enhancing business opportunities and reducing operational costs.
The initial workshops saw participation from over 200 individuals, highlighting the program’s success and its potential to reach a broader audience.
Through these initiatives and various educational programs, Du continues to promote a culture of innovation and support skill development, providing opportunities for professional and career growth for young people in the United Arab Emirates
