Watheeq Capital Announces Partial Exit of One of Its Investment Funds from Rize

Achieving a 4x Return in Just 22 Months

Watheeq Capital, a licensed company by the Capital Market Authority with license number (18189-32), announced its partial exit from Rize, a company specialized in the PropTech sector in Saudi Arabia. The exit achieved an investment return of nearly 4 times the invested amount in just 22 months, through the Watheeq Proptech Venture Fund.

This exit coincided with Rize closing its Series A investment round, raising 132 million SAR (35 million USD), led by Raed Ventures, with participation from investment entities such as Nama Ventures, Seedra Ventures, Aqaar Platform, Joa Capital, and Hala Ventures.

Watheeq Capital was one of the early supporters of Rize, participating in the Pre-Seed investment round through the Watheeq Proptech Venture Fund, a venture capital fund licensed by the Capital Market Authority, which invests in promising PropTech companies. Watheeq Capital confirmed that it will retain its remaining stake in Rize, reaffirming its continued confidence in the company’s growth and its ability to achieve future successes.
