Hub71 Partners with Google to Accelerate Startup Growth in Abu Dhabi
Hub71, a technology-focused initiative in Abu Dhabi, has announced a strategic partnership with Google to accelerate the growth of startups in the UAE.
As part of the collaboration, Google’s Google for Startups program will be launched in the capital city, Abu Dhabi.
This partnership between Google and Hub71 strengthens Abu Dhabi’s position as a global leader in technology, enhancing opportunities for innovation and growth for startups in the UAE and beyond.
In 2025, Google will launch a dedicated acceleration program, selecting 25 promising startups from Hub71’s ecosystem to join a three-month program focusing on scalable growth strategies and refining business models. All startups within the Hub71 community will be eligible to receive significant Google Cloud credits.
The top-performing startups will receive cloud credits worth up to $300,000, the highest available level of cloud credits worldwide.
Additionally, Google will provide tailored guides to support early-stage ventures within Hub71’s community.
Startups in Hub71 will also benefit from Google’s network of mentors, who will facilitate connections with global industry leaders and experts.
Google will introduce startups from Hub71 to relevant investment departments focused on their specific sectors, as well as to its parent company, Alphabet, helping them capitalize on opportunities for funding discussions centered on innovation and technological transformation.
Ahmed Jassem Al Zaabi, Chairman of Hub71, emphasized that the partnership with Google reinforces Abu Dhabi’s commitment to global technology leadership.
He also highlighted their role in accelerating economic transformation by leveraging the expertise of global tech giants to empower entrepreneurs and startups with the tools and opportunities needed for success in the competitive global digital economy.
He added that the collaboration reflects their efforts to build a dynamic future ecosystem that fosters sustainable growth and positions Abu Dhabi at the forefront of global technological progress.
Anthony Nakash, Managing Director of Google for the Middle East and North Africa, stated that launching the Google for Startups accelerator program in Abu Dhabi in collaboration with Hub71 underscores Google’s commitment to empowering startups in the UAE with the resources and access to a global network of Google experts.
