These initiatives, revealed during the inaugural Abu Dhabi Business Week (ADBW), include the establishment of the Abu Dhabi Registration Authority (Adra), the unveiling of new strategies by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development (KFED), and MEZN Venture Studios, alongside the creation of the Abu Dhabi Family Business Council.

Abu Dhabi Registration Authority (Adra): Simplifying Business Setup

Spearheaded by Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, the newly established Adra is set to centralize and streamline business registration across the Emirate’s mainland and free zones. Acting as a single point for business registration and compliance, Adra will ensure alignment with UAE and international regulations, making it significantly easier and faster for businesses to establish themselves in Abu Dhabi.

Khalifa Fund and MEZN Venture Studios: Supporting SMEs and Innovation

The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development (KFED) has introduced a new strategy aimed at fostering the growth of small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) by providing tailored support, growth incentives, and business-friendly ecosystems. This strategy underscores Abu Dhabi’s commitment to empowering SMEs to thrive in local and global markets.

MEZN Venture Studios, a new industrial zone, focuses on technological solutions and localized production. Designed to attract foreign direct investment, it offers comprehensive incentive packages, infrastructure, and shared services that support industries critical to Abu Dhabi’s economic development.

The newly launched Family Business Council aims to support family-owned businesses, addressing their challenges and priorities through innovative solutions and targeted investments. Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI): A New Strategic Roadmap

The ADCCI has unveiled a transformative roadmap to position itself as a premier business accelerator for the private sector. This strategy seeks to connect Abu Dhabi’s businesses with local and international markets, drive growth in key sectors, and foster a business ecosystem that prioritizes ease of doing business.

Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of ADCCI, emphasized:
