NVIDIA Acquires Brev.dev Backed by Nama Ventures
Nama Ventures announced that NVIDIA has acquired the startup Brev.dev, one of the companies backed by its fund, without disclosing the financial details of the deal.
Brev.dev, founded by Nader Khalil and Alec Fong in 2021, offers a specialized platform in artificial intelligence and machine learning, allowing developers to easily build, train, and deploy AI models on the cloud. The company had previously closed a pre-seed investment round in June 2022, funded by Nama Ventures.
The platform enables developers to leverage the latest graphics processing units (GPUs) provided by NVIDIA, ensuring high performance and cost-efficiency for developing advanced AI models.
In a statement, Mohamed Al-Zoubi, Founder and General Manager of Nama Ventures, expressed his delight with the acquisition, saying, “We are proud of this achievement. The Brev.dev team possesses exceptional capabilities and innovative technology, and we are pleased that NVIDIA has recognized the significant potential of this company. We aspire to see more of our portfolio startups reach such successful exits.”
Al-Zoubi also highlighted Nama Ventures’ commitment to continuing to support startups and investing in promising opportunities to help them achieve their goals and expand their impact.
