Halala Plus Announces Future Expansion in MENA
Abdulhamid Al-Tijani, Technical Projects Manager and co-founder of Halala Plus, announced the signing of expansion agreements for the Halala Plus app during the Saudi Seamless Conference.
In an exclusive interview with entArabi, Al-Tijani explained that, under these agreements, Halala Plus is set to expand its operations across the Gulf, the Middle East, and beyond in the near future.
Al-Tijani highlighted that Halalaplus app functions as a digital piggy bank using open banking technology, allowing customers to automatically set aside small amounts of money during online purchases, which are then saved for future use.
According to Al-Tijani Halalaplus offers customers exclusive discounts on over 2,000 brands, emphasizing that these services are unique to app users. Customers can convert points earned from their online purchases into savings cash.
Based in Saudi Arabia, Halalaplus operates from Riyadh and covers the regions of Makkah, Medina, and Jeddah. The app aims to provide added value in the fintech and banking sector, making financial tools accessible to all customer segments.
These initiatives align with the goal of promoting healthy and sustainable financial literacy through innovative tools for expense management and savings, in line with Saudi Arabia’s broader vision.
Halala Plus ensures secure financial transactions, facilitates cash transfers, and offers attractive discounts and a rewards points system to encourage a savings culture.
