Green Circle Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with SearchInform at GITEX Global 2024

Green Circle, a cybersecurity company based in Saudi Arabia, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with SearchInform, a company specializing in information security and risk management, to support clients across the Middle East and Arab region in securing and protecting their data.

The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the GITEX Global 2024 exhibition, held in Dubai, UAE, from October 14 to 18.

Under the agreement, Green Circle is now authorized to provide SearchInform’s security solutions and licenses to strengthen data protection and prevent data leaks in Saudi Arabia and the region.

SearchInform’s solutions are designed to offer comprehensive protection against a wide range of internal threats.

Mohammad Alkhudari, CEO of Green Circle, commented, “SearchInform’s solution ensures protection against corporate fraud, data leaks, and allows for monitoring employee activities.”

He added that the partnership helps detect idleness during working hours, collaboration with competitors, theft of corporate equipment, and more.

“Our clients have been feeling the need for such a comprehensive solution for some time, and now we are providing it,” said Alkhudari, noting that integrating this solution into their managed services will enable clients to fully comply with the key regulatory frameworks in the Kingdom, including the National Cybersecurity Authority’s regulations, the Data Governance Maturity Guideline from the Communications, Space, and Technology Commission, and the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) issued by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).

To meet the specific needs of the Saudi market, SearchInform has enhanced its technology with additional security policies tailored for the Kingdom, covering sensitive personal information such as IBAN numbers and Saudi ID details, as well as corporate infrastructure data.

These features enable more thorough analysis to detect and address potential risks and suspicious activities effectively.

Representatives of both companies believe that this comprehensive solution will earn a prominent place among customers in Saudi Arabia.

Sergey Ozhegov, CEO of SearchInform, added, “The Saudi market is growing rapidly in terms of data protection. We believe that this partnership will lead to significant business growth over the next year or two. With the rise of internal threats, it is crucial for companies to strengthen their defenses.”

He also noted that managed security services powered by strong data loss prevention (DLP) solutions help address the critical shortage of cybersecurity professionals, as the service provider handles all aspects of deployment, configuration, and administration.
