LEAP 2024 kicks off in Riyadh Tomorrow
Riyadh is gearing up to host the third edition of the “LEAP 2024” conference, a world-renowned tech event that brings together a thousand companies from across the globe alongside a thousand prestigious experts and speakers from 180 countries. Under the theme “New Horizons,” the conference will take place at the Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Center in Malhem, north of the capital, from March 4 to March 7, 2024. It is organized by the Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones, and the “Tahaluf” company.
This year, “LEAP 2024” focuses on the future of technology and artificial intelligence, showcasing the latest innovations in the field. The conference returns with the “Deep Fest” platform in partnership with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), and includes several platforms and stages dedicated to offering training courses and innovation sessions, with participation from a selection of startups and globally leading companies in the field of artificial intelligence.
The conference highlights several areas including technology, artificial intelligence, sustainability, gaming, space, and cybersecurity. Prominent speakers at the event include the United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Angela Kane, Elizabeth Adams from the Stanford Institute for Artificial Intelligence, and Divya Gokulnath, co-founder of Byju’s, in addition to speakers from companies like Bolt, Nokia, Ericsson, IBM, the LEGO Group, Schneider Electric, the New York Academy of Sciences, and the Republic of Estonia.
The conference is divided into several halls that spotlight major tech companies, fintech, smart cities, artificial intelligence, chatbots, business incubators, educational and health technologies, space, and the digital transformation of Saudi Arabia. The conference stages will witness major announcements, such as “Deep Fast” events, and showcases in fields like media, smart cities, future energy, educational technologies, and space, in addition to an investors’ platform and the Rocket Fuel competition.
The previous LEAP conference witnessed investment announcements exceeding $9 billion, with the revelation of major investment rounds and the launch of investment funds in Saudi Arabia, as well as the announcement of numerous important partnerships and agreements.
