iSchool Secures $4.5 Million in Funding to Expand Global Children’s Programming Education

iSchool, a renowned leader in children’s programming education, has announced its latest milestone with the securing of a significant $4.5 million funding round. This investment round, led by Irish company Capital Ventures Wave, marks a major achievement in the company’s journey within the venture capital sector.

Mohammed Jawaish, the CEO and founder of iSchool, expressed his utmost delight at this accomplishment, noting that the funding round saw the participation of several prestigious investment entities, including UK Capital OneStop, Network Investment Webit, and Capital Oraseya, the investment arm of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority.

In his comment on this event, Jawaish shared on his personal Facebook page that this funding will greatly accelerate iSchool’s expansion in the Middle East and North Africa, as the company plans to enter six new markets in the region. This move not only represents technological growth for the company but also prepares for the launch of live online classrooms in the African continent.

Since its establishment in 2018 as an emerging Egyptian startup, and with accreditation from the STEM organization, iSchool has been providing advanced education in fields such as software development, artificial intelligence, robotics, Internet of Things, and cloud computing for children aged 6 to 18. With the new investment, the company looks forward to expanding its services, making it easier for thousands of programming-specialized trainers from around the world to access its platform.

Jawaish emphasized that iSchool’s vision is centered on empowering today’s generations to become technology leaders of the future, starting from the Middle East and North Africa and extending to the rest of the world. This funding serves as a significant leap for the company towards making a wide-reaching global impact in the field of educational technology.
