Shaffra Expands Beyond the GCC with New Regional Headquarters in Azerbaijan

Shaffra has opened a regional headquarters in Azerbaijan in its first expansion beyond the GCC, alongside the launch of new AI-powered solutions for customer service, sales, and project management.

Shaffra, an enterprise artificial intelligence platform developer, has announced its first expansion beyond the Gulf Cooperation Council region by opening a regional headquarters in Azerbaijan to begin operations across the Caspian Sea market.

The international expansion coincides with the launch of three new AI-powered solutions: AI Call Center, AI Sales Center, and AI Project Manager. The solutions are designed to help organizations automate customer service, sales, project management, and operational workflows.

Shaffra Takes Its GCC Experience to International Markets

The new headquarters follows Shaffra’s growth across Gulf markets, particularly in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, where the company has worked with government entities and businesses to deploy Autonomous AI Teams that support day-to-day operational tasks.

After establishing its business model in the region, Shaffra is now moving into international markets as organizations increasingly seek to integrate AI-powered virtual employees into their daily operations.

The company plans to use its Azerbaijan office as a regional hub and a launch point for further expansion across the Caspian Sea region.

Enterprise AI Workforce Platform

Shaffra’s operations in the Caspian region will be supported by its Enterprise AI Workforce platform, powered by its Subconscious AI infrastructure.

The technology gives AI agents a stronger ability to retain context and memory, understand institutional workflows, and operate continuously across different business functions.

The platform enables organizations to design, manage, and operate virtual AI teams more efficiently while improving their ability to complete operational tasks and integrate with internal business systems.

Alharith Al Atawi, co-founder and CEO of Shaffra, said the opening of the Azerbaijan office represents the company’s first step toward international expansion.

He added that the move reflects growing demand outside the Gulf for autonomous AI workforces capable of carrying out real operational responsibilities and delivering measurable results, rather than functioning only as support tools.

Why Shaffra Selected Azerbaijan

Al Atawi explained that Shaffra is focusing on markets that offer a suitable environment for operating AI models efficiently, particularly in terms of energy consumption, infrastructure, and cost.

The company considers Azerbaijan a strategic entry point into the Caspian Sea region, where digital transformation is accelerating and businesses are showing increasing interest in automation and artificial intelligence solutions.

AI Call Center for Customer Communication

Shaffra’s AI Call Center solution manages both inbound and outbound customer calls while creating and following up on customer service requests and support tickets.

The solution can operate across several communication channels, including telephone calls, WhatsApp, email, text messages, websites, and internal dashboards.

This multichannel capability is intended to help businesses provide a more integrated and consistent customer experience.

AI Sales Center to Support Sales Teams

The AI Sales Center solution supports sales teams by qualifying prospective customers, scheduling meetings, automating follow-up activities, and monitoring sales performance across multiple digital channels.

It is designed to reduce the amount of time sales teams spend on repetitive tasks, allowing employees to focus on prospects with a greater likelihood of converting into actual customers.

AI Project Manager for Workflow Management

Shaffra’s AI Project Manager helps organizations manage projects and internal workflows by tracking progress, coordinating with stakeholders, and identifying potential execution risks.

The solution can also integrate with project management systems and workplace communication platforms to improve efficiency, coordination, and project delivery.

More Than Two Million Work Hours Saved Monthly

According to Shaffra, its AI teams generated savings equivalent to more than two million work hours per month during 2025.

The company intends to use its Azerbaijan office to support additional expansion across the Caspian Sea region through new partnerships and market opportunities.

Shaffra Raises More Than $10 Million

Shaffra has previously raised more than $10 million with backing from stc, Omantel, and a number of international investors.

The company will continue developing AI-powered virtual employees for customer service, sales, operations, human resources, and project management.

Through these solutions, Shaffra aims to build autonomous AI workforces for corporations, institutions, and government entities around the world.
