  • The company is accelerating its India expansion, after acquiring ReserveGo and partnering with Swiggy (under GroMax) to unify reservation data across platforms.

Dubai-based restaurant technology company Eat App has raised $10 million in a Series B extension round, exceeding the size of its original $6 million Series B round closed in 2022.

The round was led by PSG Equity through its subsidiary Zenchef SAS, bringing Eat App’s total funding to more than $23 million since its launch.

Founded in 2015 by Nizar Kadm and David Veyillard, Eat App provides a cloud-based platform that helps restaurants manage table and reservation operations while enhancing the overall guest experience through data-driven tools.

Today, the company serves over 5,000 restaurants across 92 countries. While its core markets have traditionally included the UAE, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia, India has emerged over the past year as a major growth driver, with the platform expanding to more than 2,000 restaurants in the country.

To strengthen its position in India, Eat App acquired Indian reservation platform ReserveGo in mid-2025. ReserveGo was founded by entrepreneur Vijayan Parthasarathy and reportedly managed around 5 million bookings per month. Eat App also partnered with Swiggy to market its restaurant solution in India under the GroMax brand, aiming to unify reservation data coming from multiple channels and convert it into actionable insights that support restaurant growth.

India’s food services market is expected to exceed $85 billion by 2028, with dine-in restaurants accounting for more than half of total spending. Eat App aims to address the fragmentation of booking channels through a unified platform that enables restaurants to optimize capacity, improve customer experience, and increase revenue using data.
