Dubai Artificial Intelligence Week 2025: A Global Platform Shaping the Future of Technology

The week includes 9 major events, such as the AI Retreat, “Machines Can See” Summit, and Dubai AI Festival, with participation from tech giants like OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, and NVIDIA.

The event targets 6 key sectors and features an educational program for Dubai school students to raise awareness about AI technologies and future applications.

Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation, the first edition of Dubai Artificial Intelligence Week will take place from April 21 to 25, 2025. Organized by the Dubai Centre for AI Applications, a key initiative of the Dubai Future Foundation, this event is set to become the largest and most comprehensive platform of its kind in the region, bringing together global leaders in artificial intelligence (AI) innovation and application.

A Global-Scale Digital Event

Dubai AI Week will host over 10,000 participants from more than 100 countries, with a rich agenda featuring more than 150 keynote sessions, panels, and workshops led by over 180 speakers from the UAE and across the globe. The event offers attendees access to over 140 interactive experiences, showcasing real-world AI applications across various sectors.

More than 25 of the world’s leading tech companies—including Google, Microsoft, Meta, IBM, NVIDIA, OpenAI, Gartner, and Swift—will share their insights and innovations. Additionally, 15 international delegations will be present, representing countries such as the United States, Canada, South Korea, India, Australia, Germany, and Italy, affirming the global significance of this initiative.

Vision and Leadership

H.E. Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Managing Director of the Dubai Future Foundation, emphasized that the event marks a pivotal step in the UAE’s journey toward a knowledge-based, innovation-driven future.

“Guided by the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and supported by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Dubai continues to cement its status as a global hub for future technologies,” Al Gergawi said.

He added: “Dubai AI Week provides a collaborative space to exchange expertise, foster public-private partnerships, and spotlight the world’s best practices in AI innovation. It is also a catalyst for launching impactful solutions that enhance quality of life and accelerate sustainable development.”

9 Major Events Across the City

Dubai AI Week features nine flagship events hosted at key locations across the city, including:

1. AI Retreat (April 21 at the Museum of the Future): A closed-door forum hosting 100+ policymakers, government officials, and tech leaders.

2. Dubai AI Forum (April 21–25 at Area 2071, Emirates Towers): A five-day gathering of global experts, influencers, and decision-makers with over 25 key sessions.

3. Global AI Prompt Engineering Challenge (April 22–23): A unique competition where AI prompt engineers from around the world compete in generating content using tools like ChatGPT and Midjourney.

4. Dubai AI Festival (April 23–24 at Madinat Jumeirah): Organized in partnership with Dubai AI Campus and DIFC to explore AI’s transformative impact across industries.

5. Machines Can See Summit (April 23–24): Hosted by Polinum Events in collaboration with the UAE’s AI Office, focusing on AI vision technologies and responsible AI innovation.

6. AI Innovations Conference (April 22–24 at Grand Hyatt Dubai): Led by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, highlighting R&D in AI and its educational and institutional applications.

7. HIMSS 2025 Conference (April 23 at Emirates Towers Hotel): Dedicated to the future of healthcare, covering AI in genomics, precision medicine, and digital health transformation.

8. Dubai AI Hackathon (April 25 at Area 2071): A live challenge where innovators build autonomous AI agents to solve real-world problems without human input.

9. AI Week in Dubai Schools: A parallel program in collaboration with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority to educate students about AI concepts and applications throughout the week.

Dubai AI Festival provides a networking hub for startups, investors, and corporates to form impactful partnerships and explore AI opportunities.

The Machines Can See Summit examines advanced applications such as robotics, autonomous vehicles, and responsible AI frameworks.
