Umm Al Quwain Launches SOUL Incubator to Boost Innovation and Growth
The Umm Al Quwain Free Trade Zone has announced the launch of its new startup incubator, SOUL (Umm Al Quwain Startup Incubator), aimed at boosting innovation and supporting the growth of startups in high-tech and fast-growing sectors within the UAE. The launch event was attended by Sheikh Khalid Bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Chairman of the Free Trade Zone, and Sheikh Mansoor Bin Ibrahim Al Mu’alla, Executive Director of the Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation.
The Umm Al Quwain Free Trade Zone expects this initiative to offer a range of resources to both local and international entrepreneurs working in fields such as artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, fintech, edtech, proptech, regtech, and robotics.
The Free Trade Zone highlighted that SOUL serves as a comprehensive platform supporting startups by providing a range of specialized services to help these businesses establish themselves in the market.
These services include business setup, guidance from experienced mentors, access to markets, product evaluation, and potential funding channels, all of which aim to support both local and international startups, fostering their growth within the UAE and across the GCC.
