iStoria application has achieved a successful investment milestone with a funding round of 5 million Saudi Riyals

iStoria, an English language teaching application and a leading educational initiative in Saudi Arabia, has announced the successful closure of its Seed funding round, securing a total of 5 million Saudi Riyals in investment. Prominent investors in this round include well-known companies such as Nama Ventures, Classera, Flat6Labs, and BIM Ventures, alongside a group of strategic investors.

With a user base exceeding one million learners worldwide, iStoria has garnered significant popularity and satisfaction, boasting an impressive App Store rating of 4.6 out of 5. This increasing popularity has led to the expansion of iStoria into the education sector, where it has established partnerships with several private and government schools. These collaborations have allowed the integration of iStoria into school curricula, enhancing students’ English language skills under direct supervision.

iStoria stands out for its innovative approach to English language education. The application focuses on vocabulary development through graded-reader stories tailored for learners of all levels, complemented by comprehension questions and rigorous assessment tests to ensure effective vocabulary acquisition. This method is designed to prepare learners for successful completion of international English language tests.

With the infusion of this funding, iStoria plans to further enhance its educational platform, accelerate innovation, and expand its global reach. This recent investment marks a significant milestone in establishing iStoria as a prominent player in the field of English language education, delivering added value to its users.

Founded in March 2022 by Eng. Abdullah Al-Jaberi, a technical product developer and entrepreneur, iStoria was developed in collaboration with a team of experts with over a decade of experience in their respective fields. This team includes Dr. Faisal Al-Hamoud, an expert in academic education and English content management; Eng. Abdel Nasser Al-Wali, a specialist in operations management; Eng. Ismail Ashour, an expert in technical management; and Mr. Khaled Al-Rashed, the marketing manager. Together with more than 20 highly skilled and passionate employees, they have brought iStoria to fruition.

Eng.
