i-be Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Concludes Participation in the 2023 Entrepreneurship Conference in Qatar

The i-be Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center successfully concluded its participation in the 2023 Entrepreneurship Conference in Qatar, held from November 20 to 22, 2023, at the Qatar National Convention Center.

The conference witnessed broad Gulf attendance, where i-be showcased its approach to supporting entrepreneurs, developing startups, and exploring expansion opportunities in the region.

Accompanied by a delegation from the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at,” i-be participated in the 2023 Entrepreneurship Conference and the Gulf Entrepreneurship Forum.

Ten emerging Saudi companies also attended, aiming to explore expansion opportunities and discuss common challenges with entrepreneurs from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

I-be stands out with its integrated entrepreneurship system, providing support for entrepreneurs, developing startups, and fostering companies by offering necessary research, tools, and solutions for market entry.

To date, i-be has contributed to the launch of over 140 startups. Its participation in the 2023 Entrepreneurship Conference serves as an opportunity to expand from the Kingdom to GCC countries, contributing to the development of more companies and building a network of relationships to assist Saudi companies in expanding globally, supporting startups from GCC countries to enter the Saudi market.

 Lina Al-Shaddadi, the General Manager of Shared Services at i-be, highlighted the significant opportunity to strengthen ties among Gulf startups.

She stated, “The Entrepreneurship Conference is an opportunity for us to showcase our approach to supporting and developing startups and to explore expansion opportunities, applying our approach in Gulf countries. It also helps Gulf startups enter the Saudi market.”

 Nora Al-Aqla, Deputy CEO of Entrepreneurship, expressed enthusiasm for helping Gulf startups expand into Saudi Arabia and enhancing the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the region.

She said, “The Saudi market is the largest in the region and represents a tremendous opportunity for Gulf companies seeking expansion. We look forward to assisting these companies in achieving their goals and hope that new collaboration opportunities will enable Saudi startups to expand in the Gulf, with us playing a role in this expansion.”

The 2023 Entrepreneurship Conference in Qatar hosted over 200 participants, including GCC ministers, entrepreneurial entities, experts, and startups.

With more than 70 booths and over 30 workshops and training sessions, the conference provided a platform for collaboration, networking, and knowledge sharing in the field of entrepreneurship.
