Tamara Finance has received an A- credit rating from Saudi-based Simah Rating Agency (TASSNIEF), strengthening its funding strategy and supporting its expansion into local capital markets.

The rating marks Tamara’s first independent credit assessment by TASSNIEF and comes with a stable outlook, reflecting the company’s strong creditworthiness, sustainable growth, and long-term financial resilience while paving the way for new funding opportunities.

Tamara Finance announced that it has been assigned an A- credit rating with a stable outlook by SIMAH Rating Agency (TASSNIEF), marking a key milestone in the company’s efforts to diversify its funding sources and strengthen its access to Saudi capital markets.

The rating reflects Tamara’s solid financial position, low credit risk, and high credit quality.

It also underscores the sustainability of the company’s business model and supports its future growth plans and expansion of financial products and services.

According to TASSNIEF, the rating was driven by several key strengths, including the quality of Tamara’s assets, improved profitability, and the effectiveness of its risk management framework.

Commenting on the achievement, Mohammed Alahmadi, Chief Financial Officer at Tamara, said:

“This rating is a strong endorsement of our business model and the disciplined approach we take to risk management as we continue to expand sustainably.”

He added:

“The achievement further strengthens the confidence of our investors and financing partners, while enabling us to broaden our Shariah-compliant funding sources within the Kingdom.”

The rating highlights Tamara’s continued growth trajectory and positions the company to pursue new business opportunities with greater confidence.

It also reflects Tamara’s responsible lending approach and its commitment to supporting the development of Saudi Arabia’s digital economy in line with the goals of Vision 2030.
