LabLabee Secures $3.4 Million in Seed Funding
LabLabee, an Algerian edtech startup, has successfully raised $3.4 million in a funding round aimed at boosting the adoption of 5G, cloud, and AI technologies in the telecommunications and industrial sectors. The round was led by Reach Capital, joined by Classera, Brighteye Ventures, e& capital, and angel investors.
The company aims to strengthen its position in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions, with plans to expand into the US market through partnerships with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. LabLabee also intends to expand its educational offerings by introducing new hands-on training labs for technologies like VMware, Redhat, and Windriver.
LabLabee is committed to enhancing the learning experience through features like a sandbox environment, allowing users to learn, practice, and test on a single platform. The company will also enhance its course content with topics related to the fourth industrial revolution, including telecommunications security, AI applications in telecommunications, and edge computing.
The company collaborates with a wide range of entities such as telecom operators, vendors, and educational institutions to integrate practical exercises into training programs, reducing costs and promoting skill development. This approach aims to address the significant skills gap in cloud-native technologies among telecom operators, offering learners on-demand labs covering advanced technologies like 5G, IMS, and Kubernetes.
