Yalla Plus Closes a $2.7 Million Investment Round

Yalla Plus, a Riyadh-based company, has announced the closure of its $2.7 million seed funding round. The round was led by Merak Capital, with participation from Khwarizmi Ventures, the American firm Isometry, and angel investors from the Middle East and the United States.

Founded in Riyadh in 2022 by Abdullah Alrabeh, a serial tech entrepreneur, and Bader H. Nasser, a venture capitalist and entrepreneur, Yalla Plus offers a comprehensive tech platform that serves the restaurant and café sector through an integrated POS system managing payments, loyalty programs, and data analytics. The platform provides detailed data that helps enhance operational efficiency and performance, currently serving entrepreneurs in 11 countries worldwide. The company aims to support 100,000 entrepreneurs in 50 countries across the Middle East, Europe, and Southeast Asia.

On this occasion, Abdullah Alrabeh, co-founder and CEO of Yalla Plus, emphasized that the company was launched from Riyadh with the goal of empowering entrepreneurs in the hospitality sector to achieve success. He noted that this launch is a result of the innovation-friendly environment fostered by Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, affirming that the company will continue to grow by developing exceptional tech products that support entrepreneurs and businesses everywhere. He also mentioned that the funding round aims to attract the best local and global talent and to build a leading Saudi tech company serving 100,000 entrepreneurs over the next five years.
