Ahli Fintech, a subsidiary of Jordan Ahli Bank, hosted a Demo Day for the second cohort of startups participating in its accelerator program, Ahli Fintech Accelerator. The event gathered prominent leaders and executives from Jordan’s financial sector, investors from Jordan and the region, and influencers in the fintech and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

In his speech, Dr. Adel Al Sharkas, Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, praised the efforts of the event organizers, highlighting the importance of supporting entrepreneurs in fintech and banking services in Jordan. He affirmed that Jordanian startups are making significant achievements locally and regionally.

His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Hanandeh expressed his pride in the progress of Jordan’s fintech sector, noting its long history of innovation since the establishment of the first local fintech company 35 years ago. He emphasized that the local infrastructure strongly supports innovation and creativity in this sector.

Mr. Saad Al Masri, Chairman of Jordan Ahli Bank, emphasized the bank’s role in supporting entrepreneurs through the Ahli Fintech Accelerator, pointing out the significant changes occurring in the global fintech industry. He noted that fintech companies have achieved considerable market value, with revenues in this sector expected to grow at rates surpassing those of the traditional banking sector.

The event included presentations from the participating startups, including Whyise, InvoiceQ, Fintech Galaxy, Repzo, QuiqClaim, askPepper, Capifly, zypl.ai, and Simma. Each startup showcased its innovative fintech solutions and investment opportunities.
