The initiative aims to empower entrepreneurs and accelerate the growth of e-commerce startups, supporting the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) and strengthening the emirate’s position as a global hub for the digital economy.
Dubai CommerCity, the free zone dedicated to digital commerce and a subsidiary of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ), has launched a new startup incubator program in partnership with Incubater, aiming to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global hub for digital commerce and entrepreneurship.
The initiative is designed to support startups, empower entrepreneurs, and accelerate the growth of digital commerce businesses, in line with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which seeks to position Dubai as a leading global destination for the digital economy and innovation.
Applications for the program will open to entrepreneurs worldwide on August 10, with the first cohort scheduled to begin in October 2026.
The incubator will provide startups with access to a comprehensive business ecosystem that helps validate business models, refine innovative solutions, and prepare companies for regional and international expansion.
Participants will also benefit from an integrated support framework that includes expert mentorship, business consulting, capacity-building programs, and access to networks of investors, industry experts, and strategic partners.
The program will further offer opportunities to run pilot projects with private-sector partners and participate in dedicated investor pitch events, enhancing fundraising prospects and accelerating business growth.
Supporting Dubai’s Digital Economy Vision
Amna Lootah, Director General of Dubai CommerCity, said the launch of the incubator reflects the free zone’s ongoing commitment to advancing the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) while strengthening the emirate’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
She noted that the program is designed to help digital commerce and e-commerce startups build scalable business models capable of attracting investment by providing founders with specialized mentorship, commercial expertise, and operational support needed to establish resilient and sustainable businesses.
Building a Stronger Startup Ecosystem
Saeed Hamad Al Hammadi, Founder and CEO of Incubater, said successful digital commerce ventures require an integrated ecosystem that combines specialized expertise, strategic partnerships, and growth opportunities.
He added that Dubai CommerCity offers an ideal environment for launching, testing, and scaling innovative businesses.
The incubator will equip startups with practical support, professional guidance, and direct access to investors, enabling them to evolve into highly competitive companies at both regional and global levels.
Under the partnership, Dubai CommerCity will connect participating startups with its innovation ecosystem and strategic partners to accelerate their growth, while simplifying business setup procedures and providing regulatory guidance.
The free zone will also offer a comprehensive suite of services and resources to support regional expansion and market entry, further reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global destination for digital commerce, innovation, entrepreneurship, and the new economy.
