The 2025 World Government Summit officially launched today in Dubai, where it will be held for three consecutive days under the theme “Shaping Future Governments.” The summit is attended by over 30 heads of state and government.

According to the Dubai government, the event takes place from February 11 to 13, gathering nearly 140 governments, over 80 international and regional organizations, as well as thinkers and experts, with more than 6,000 participants in attendance.

The summit’s focus revolves around six key themes, including effective governance and accountability, the global economy and future financing, city resilience and crisis management, the future of humanity and capacity development, global health transformations, and emerging trends such as artificial intelligence and sustainability-driven technologies.

The event will feature 200 main discussions and interactive sessions, with the participation of around 300 representatives from governments, states, and experts, in addition to more than 30 government sessions involving over 400 ministers and government officials.

The summit will also launch 30 strategic reports in collaboration with knowledge partners from think tanks, academic institutions, and research bodies, aimed at exploring global trends across various sectors and providing actionable government strategies.
