LAB7, Saudi Aramco’s venture-building arm for technology startups, has announced its support for Conix, a Saudi startup developing AI-powered solutions for architectural design and regulatory compliance in the construction sector.
The move reflects LAB7’s role in enabling emerging technology companies and supporting the adoption of artificial intelligence across vital sectors, including engineering, construction, and architectural design.
Integrating B2Code with E-Comply
As part of the collaboration, LAB7’s award-winning B2Code engine will be integrated into Conix’s E-Comply platform.
The integration aims to strengthen Conix’s ability to deliver comprehensive digital solutions for engineering offices, real estate developers, and government entities by improving the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of design review and regulatory compliance processes.
AI-Powered Architectural Design Solutions
Conix offers an AI-powered engineering design platform that combines regulatory and engineering requirements to generate complete architectural drawings within minutes.
The platform automatically reviews documents and drawings, helping produce architectural designs that comply with technical and regulatory requirements from the early stages of a project. This helps reduce the risk of costly design revisions at later stages.
Automating Compliance in the Construction Sector
The integration of E-Comply with B2Code will support the automation of compliance reports and provide a more efficient and accurate solution for the construction sector.
B2Code enables direct verification of floor plans against regulatory requirements during the early design stages. This allows design and engineering teams to identify compliance issues earlier, improve drawing quality, and streamline approval processes.
LAB7’s support for Conix marks another step toward expanding the use of artificial intelligence in architectural design and construction compliance in Saudi Arabia, contributing to greater efficiency and digital transformation across the engineering services sector.
