eYouth, a leading EdTech platform, has announced a strategic partnership with Doroob, a Syrian startup focused on learning for employment, to develop and expand training programs designed to help young Syrians learn, gain modern skills, and prepare for the job market.
The partnership brings together eYouth’s extensive digital learning library and experience in online and blended education with Doroob’s on-the-ground model in Syria. Doroob combines flexible online learning, in-person training, and hybrid education through a digital platform and a growing network of training centers.
eYouth is one of the region’s leading EdTech platforms, offering an integrated online platform, a comprehensive content library, and a wide network of trainers and mentors. The platform has supported more than 3 million learners and helped over 700,000 graduates access job opportunities across 21 countries.
Doroob, on the other hand, aims to connect education directly with employment. The Syrian startup operates through a model that combines a digital platform with physical training centers across more than 7 Syrian governorates. It also works with ministries and public institutions to equip young people with the practical skills needed to succeed in today’s labor market.
Under the agreement, the two companies will integrate eYouth’s digital content with Doroob’s local training center network. This will allow students in Syria to access advanced training programs in technology, freelancing, and entrepreneurship, while also receiving practical support through nearby training centers.
The partnership is designed to deliver a learning experience that combines high-quality digital content with hands-on training. Its goal is to help young people master skills that are actually required by employers, rather than relying only on theoretical learning.
Mustafa Abdel Latif, CEO of eYouth, said that Syrian youth have strong potential and deserve training programs that lead directly to real job opportunities. He added that connecting eYouth’s regional platform with Doroob’s local training centers and deep knowledge of the Syrian market will help deliver programs that build the skills companies currently need.
Sami Al Ahmad, co-founder and CEO of Doroob, said that the company’s main goal is to turn education into employment. He explained that the partnership with eYouth will help Doroob scale quickly by offering eYouth’s digital content through its centers, in cooperation with Syrian ministries, to build a fast, flexible, and effective pathway for preparing young people for the job market across Syria.
In the next phase, eYouth and Doroob will work together to launch their joint programs and collaborate with government entities, international organizations, and the private sector. The partnership aims to open new employment opportunities for Syrian youth and contribute to creating sustainable economic opportunities across the country.
