The Saudi Research and Media Group (SRMG) and Snapchat have announced the signing of a strategic partnership aimed at supporting media innovation and developing the ecosystem of content creators.
According to SRMG, the agreement includes providing integrated commercial solutions across the Middle East and North Africa region.
The partnership will focus on several key areas, including:
• Media and content
• Content creators
• Sports
• Commercial innovation
The collaboration aims to develop new editorial and storytelling formats supported by Snapchat’s tools. It will also include launching specialized training initiatives in cooperation with the SRMG Academy, and creating joint content strategies designed to support and empower talent within the content creation industry.
Nada Al Mubarak, CEO of SRMG Media Solutions, stated that the partnership seeks to build an interconnected media ecosystem that is data-driven and highly adaptable from an economic perspective.
She added:
“By aligning our content, talent, and commercial capabilities with Snapchat’s technological innovation, we aim to create more effective pathways for advertisers while supporting the next generation of content creators across the region.”
Meanwhile, Abdullah Al Hammadi, General Manager of Snapchat, confirmed that more than 26 million people use Snapchat monthly in Saudi Arabia, making the platform an integral part of daily life in the market.
