The GSMA, in collaboration with Qatar’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), is set to welcome global leaders, innovators and policymakers to MWC25 Doha, presenting a dynamic programme focused on collaboration, new partnerships, and breakthrough technologies.
Held under the esteemed patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and brought to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) for the first time by MCIT, MWC25 Doha will highlight the transformative power of connectivity across societies, industries, and economies throughout the region.
Taking place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center on 25–26 November, the inaugural edition will bring together a global audience united by a shared commitment to digital transformation, aligning with the GSMA’s mission to empower people, industries, and communities through advanced connectivity.
Arriving at a decisive moment in MENA’s digital evolution, MWC Doha reinforces the region’s position as a thriving hub for next-generation connectivity, AI-driven technologies, and digital innovation. More than 250 exhibitors and sponsors will present cutting-edge solutions that reflect MENA’s expanding influence in global digitisation.
Over the course of two action-packed days, nearly 300 thought leaders will deliver insights through keynote sessions and summits centred on the event’s core themes: AI Nexus, Intelligent Economies, and Connected Industries.

The wider MWC Doha agenda will delve into major topics such as Agentic AI, AI-Powered Telco, Smart Mobility, Open Gateway, 5G Futures, Satellite and NTN technologies, as well as Fintech and Commerce.
Announcement Lounge (MoU Signing Space):
A dedicated area where organisations will sign agreements, unveil announcements, and formalise partnerships—reflecting how business is conducted at MWC.
4YFN:
The acclaimed global start-up platform makes its MENA debut, hosting more than 100 regional and international start-ups across fintech, deeptech, health tech, and climate tech. A delegation of 40 Qatari start-ups, supported by MCIT, will lead the showcase.
GSMA Mobile for Development (M4D):
Highlighting efforts to expand digital inclusion, enhance climate resilience, and broaden financial access in emerging markets, M4D will demonstrate how mobile-enabled services empower communities and support national and regional digital goals.
GSMA Ministerial Programme:
Ministers, regulators, and senior policymakers from around the world will convene in Doha to discuss digital governance, spectrum, mobile investment, and policy frameworks for next-generation networks.
GSMA Pavilion:
Featuring immersive VR experiences in collaboration with Khalifa University, plus a unique activation where visitors can remotely drive a desert car using APIs via GSMA Open Gateway and Elmo. Attendees can also test their racing skills on simulators using lap times from the Lusail F1 Circuit ahead of the Qatar Grand Prix.
GSMA Digital Leaders Programme:
Hosted in the region for the first time, this programme will gather C-suite leaders from technology, telecoms, enterprise, and government to explore the role of AI in digital infrastructure and sustainable economic growth.
Smart City Expo Doha 2025:
A dedicated spotlight on how intelligent infrastructure, data utilisation, and urban innovation are reshaping cities across the Middle East.
Innovation Showcases & Country Pavilions:
National pavilions representing Qatar, Korea, Türkiye, and Palestine will highlight the latest digital initiatives. The Qatar Pavilion alone will feature 32 projects from 17 government entities. Visitors can also enjoy an F1-themed experience at the GSMA Pavilion, testing their skills on sim racing setups using real times from the Lusail Circuit.
