Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Saudi AI company Humain have announced a landmark strategic partnership exceeding $5 billion to establish a first-of-its-kind “AI Zone” in Saudi Arabia, supporting the Kingdom’s vision to become a global leader in artificial intelligence.
A Next-Generation AI Zone
The AI Zone will combine:
Advanced AWS cloud infrastructure
World-class semiconductors
UltraCluster networks for fast training and inference
Access to leading AI services, including:
Amazon SageMaker
Amazon Bedrock
Amazon Q
This investment complements AWS’s previously announced $5.3 billion (SAR 19.88 billion) infrastructure region in Saudi Arabia, expected to go live in 2026, reaffirming AWS’s long-term commitment to the Kingdom.
Empowering Saudi Innovation in AI
Through the partnership, Humain will:
Develop AI-powered solutions using AWS technologies
Serve both regional and global enterprise clients
Launch a unified marketplace for AI agents, enabling Saudi government entities to easily discover, deploy, and manage AI software
