NVIDIA has launched its SIGNALS program in Egypt in partnership with RiseUp, A15, and BitRoot, aiming to connect Egyptian artificial intelligence startups with the NVIDIA Inception ecosystem, which provides technical and business support, training programs, and access to investors and strategic partners.
The program introduced startups to the application process for NVIDIA Inception, a global initiative that offers technical training, engineering support, GPU credits, and go-to-market assistance for AI-driven startups. The event also featured discussions on emerging AI development trends and the criteria investors use when evaluating AI startups.
Basil Fateen, Head of Startups and Venture Capital for the Middle East and Africa at NVIDIA, said the company is witnessing strong momentum among AI startups across the region, noting that Egypt is home to a growing startup ecosystem developing AI-powered solutions to address challenges across multiple industries.
Fateen added that launching SIGNALS in Egypt is part of NVIDIA’s efforts to deepen its engagement with the country’s startup community and expand access to the NVIDIA Inception ecosystem. Member startups benefit from GPU credits, technical training, engineering support, as well as go-to-market resources designed to help them scale and reach new markets.
The event also featured a panel discussion moderated by Fateen, with participation from Omar Mansour, Chief Technology Officer at Intella; Omar Abdelwahed, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Valify Solutions; Moustafa Menessy, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Paymob; and Farah Osman, Chief Executive Officer of Bluworks.
For his part, Abdelhameed Sharara, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of RiseUp, said Egypt’s artificial intelligence sector is experiencing rapid growth, adding that the initiative is designed to provide founders with the knowledge, partnerships, and opportunities needed to help startups expand and strengthen their competitiveness.
The launch marks the beginning of a series of upcoming events and activities in Egypt that will bring together additional NVIDIA partners and startups building on NVIDIA technologies, with the aim of expanding collaboration among developers, entrepreneurs, and investors across the country’s AI ecosystem.
