PlaysOut is Redefining In-App Gaming

PlaysOut has successfully raised $7 million in a seed funding round, bringing its valuation to $70 million. This investment, led by OKX Ventures, KBW Ventures, and Pacific Century Group, positions PlaysOut to lead the embedded mini-game industry, a market projected to be worth between $6-10 billion.

Co-founder Jassem Osseiran shared insights on how this funding will help PlaysOut shape the future of in-app gaming.

Funding Objectives: Expansion and Strategic Partnerships

Osseiran described this funding round as a “major step forward”, enabling PlaysOut to focus on three key priorities:

  1. Expanding its mini-game ecosystem
  2. Securing strategic partnerships with major applications
  3. Scaling into high-growth markets, including the U.S., MENA, and Asia

Accelerating Growth and Enhancing User Engagement

Osseiran emphasized that this investment gives the company the firepower to build high-quality mini-games, scale its platform, and lock in key partnerships with major apps.

“This funding gives us the firepower to double down on what matters—building high-quality mini-games, scaling our ecosystem, and securing key partnerships with super apps,” Osseiran explained.

“We’re creating a seamless, engaging way for users to interact with mini-games inside the apps they already use daily. This capital gets us there faster.”

PlaysOut is Poised to Dominate the Embedded Gaming Sector

With this funding, PlaysOut is set to accelerate its expansion and strengthen its position as a leading platform in the embedded mini-game space, unlocking significant opportunities for growth and innovation in the sector.
