Trevi, a leading electronic payment services provider, has announced the launch of its new digital payment app in collaboration with Paymob.

This initiative aims to expand access to secure and convenient financial solutions for individuals and entrepreneurs.

This partnership aligns with the Egyptian government’s efforts to promote financial inclusion and advance digital payment technologies.

The services introduced under this collaboration include electronic payment solutions and loyalty programs, supporting payments via credit cards, ATMs, mobile applications, installment services through ValU, QR code technology, and NFC capabilities.

The Trevi app offers users a seamless and secure payment experience, catering to both individuals and startups. Additionally, it provides financial analytics based on users’ transaction details, helping them better manage their expenses.

The app also features a “Family Wallet” that allows users to efficiently oversee household spending.

Antony Sobhy, CEO of Trevi and a renowned expert in financial technology and loyalty programs across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, emphasized that the app is designed to revolutionize how consumers manage their finances by integrating secure transactions with personalized loyalty programs that align with users’ daily spending habits.

He projected that Egypt’s fintech and digital payments market will reach $157.86 billion by 2029. Additionally, Trevi aims to attract 11.4 million potential users, with an expected transaction volume of $2.8 billion over the next five years.

Sobhy also revealed the company’s regional expansion plans, targeting markets in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Lebanon, Morocco, Libya, and Iraq.

This move is expected to drive innovation and growth in the fintech sector across North Africa and the Levant (NALP), further empowering users with advanced digital financial services.

Trevi’s Key Features and Future Expansions

Trevi has established partnerships with a diverse range of merchants, including high-end restaurants, jewelry stores, fashion retailers, electronics vendors, and grocery suppliers.

The app also offers users exclusive access to events and activities through the “Trevi Lifestyle” service, enhancing their overall experience.

Additionally, users can book flights and access travel services while benefiting from instant rewards on reservations.

Trevi remains committed to enhancing data security while expanding its features. Upcoming updates include:

  • “Trevi Spaces”, a feature for managing shared expenses.
