Egyptian company DisrupTech is considering launching a new $70 million investment fund to support startups in 2026, according to Mohamed Okasha, the company’s co-founder.

DisrupTech had previously launched its first investment fund in 2021, which was dedicated to fintech startups in Egypt. The fund has invested in several companies, including “Bank in a Box,” “Brimore,” “Khazna,” “Fatura,” “Kashat,” “MNT-Halan,” “Mozare3,” and “Jahez.”

Okasha mentioned that the new fund will be launched after the closure of the current fund, which has a total value of $36 million. He also noted that the value of the new fund will be similar to the current one, although the specific sectors for investment have not yet been determined.
