The WiSER Pioneers Program, a global initiative by Masdar and the Zayed Sustainability Prize, is now accepting applications for its 2025 cohort. This program is designed to empower young women professionals between the ages of 25 and 35 to become leaders in sustainability.
Since its launch in 2018, the WiSER Pioneers Program has supported over 130 women from 30+ nationalities, offering them access to tailored educational workshops and global networking opportunities. The program aims to equip women with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to play a pivotal role in the global transition to a net-zero future.
What the Program Offers The WiSER Pioneers Program provides participants with opportunities to engage in bespoke workshops, mentorship programs, and international networking events. These experiences help women advance their careers in sustainability, clean energy, and leadership roles. The program’s activities include:

Additionally, the program includes the WiSER Cares initiative, which promotes community development through cultural exchange. For example, the 2024 cohort participated in a five-day course on adaptive agriculture in Marrakesh, Morocco.
Eligibility Requirements The program is open to women aged 25 to 35 who have a degree in fields related to environment, energy, sustainability, or STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
