Launch of Du Entrepreneurship Program in Partnership with Innovation Hub to Boost Startup Growth in Dubai

Du“, a subsidiary of Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company, has announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with the “Innovation Hub” at Dubai International Financial Centre to launch the “du Entrepreneurship Program”. This program aims to support entrepreneurs and startups through a specially designed platform to enhance their performance and growth potential.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Arif Amiri, CEO of Dubai International Financial Centre Authority, and Fahad Al Hassawi, CEO of “du”. It was signed by Mohammed Al Balooshi, CEO of Innovation Hub, and Karim Benkirane, Chief Commercial Officer of “du”.

In its statement, “du” confirmed that the program focuses on enhancing the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by providing flexible communication solutions, innovative workspace, and practical training in corporate communication, marketing, and cybersecurity. The program allows companies to learn how to integrate the latest technologies, such as artificial intelligence, to support their competitiveness and streamline their operations.

Additionally, the program provides guidance and mentorship to SMEs during the digital transformation process, including strategic planning, technology adoption, and organizational change management, to achieve sustainable growth in a rapidly evolving business environment.

Fahad Al Hassawi pointed out that this initiative aims to support regional economic growth by empowering SMEs and startups. Arif Amiri emphasized that SMEs represent the backbone of Dubai’s economy, driving innovation and creating more job opportunities. He noted that the centre hosts more than 1,000 companies in the fintech and innovation sectors.
