FanZ App Raises 5.6 Million Riyals in Pre-Seed Funding Round
The FanZ App, an interactive platform dedicated to football enthusiasts, has announced the closure of a funding round worth 5.6 million Saudi riyals (1.5 million US dollars). The round saw participation from a group of Saudi national team stars such as Salem Aldwsari and Firas Albrikan, in addition to international investment firms like 500Global and Le Augure, along with several angel investors.
A Unique Interactive Experience for Football Fans
Launched in 2022, the FanZ app offers a unique interactive experience for football fans through:
- Prediction contests and fantasy leagues: The app allows users to test their skills in predicting match outcomes and assembling their virtual teams.
- Investing in player cards: Users have the opportunity to buy and sell player cards, adding an element of excitement and thrill to football fandom.
- Match schedules and results: The app provides users with comprehensive information about all local and international football leagues, including match schedules, results, events, and statistics.
A Significant Milestone in FanZ’s Journey
Khaled Alkhudair, co-founder of FanZ, told Goal website that the app has managed to acquire two million users in just 15 months. He added that this investment round represents a significant milestone in FanZ’s journey, confirming investors’ confidence in the platform’s potential and business model.
