Oman Telecommunications Company’s innovation labs have selected eight tech startups for the seventh cohort of the Omantel Accelerator, in a move aimed at supporting the growth of Oman’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and strengthening the Sultanate’s position as an emerging regional hub for innovation and digital transformation.
The startups were selected based on their market readiness and ability to deliver practical, scalable solutions across key sectors including artificial intelligence, fintech, cybersecurity, healthtech, energy, logistics, and smart digital solutions.
The selected startups include Algo AI, which provides advanced customer experience solutions through AI-powered voice agents that enable autonomous business call automation, and Artificial Horizon, a research and development company focused on accelerating AI adoption through its AI Maestro platform.
In the digital health sector, Dietition was selected as a healthy meal subscription platform designed to support balanced lifestyles through a sustainable digital experience.
Within fintech, Eisala offers a platform for automating financial operations from procurement to payment, while NeoSec AI delivers advanced cybersecurity solutions with a focus on proactive protection for critical infrastructure.
The cohort also includes Nursel, a platform specialized in training nursing professionals and connecting them with healthcare institutions, Taqa Mate, which provides smart energy management solutions that convert data into operational savings, and Wasaq, a digital marketplace that connects businesses and enables the trading of excess container capacity to improve supply chain efficiency.
Ghada Al-Said, Acting General Manager of Omantel Innovation Labs, said the seventh cohort reflects the increasing maturity of startups in Oman, noting that these companies are now delivering innovative solutions aligned with market needs across vital sectors.
She added that Omantel remains committed to supporting entrepreneurs by providing an integrated environment that includes strategic mentorship and effective partnerships, helping accelerate startup growth and strengthen expansion capabilities.
The initiative builds on Omantel Innovation Labs’ strong track record, having enabled dozens of startups in previous cohorts to attract new investments and expand into regional and international markets, while developing impactful technology solutions across multiple sectors.
The selected startups in the seventh cohort will receive a comprehensive support package, including technical and strategic mentorship, access to Omantel’s innovation ecosystem, and collaboration opportunities with local and international partners to further enhance their readiness for growth and expansion.
