Physiohome Company closes a second seed investment round in cooperation with Sanabel 500 and Saudi Venture Capital

“PhysioHome,” a Saudi company specializing in home healthcare services, has announced the successful closure of its second investment round (Seed), with the participation of angel investors, without disclosing its financial value.

This announcement follows the success of the company’s first investment round (Pre-Seed) in 2022, in collaboration with Sanabil 500 and the Saudi Venture Capital Company, along with angel investors from Arqal.

Established in 2021 as part of the health sector accelerator supported by the Ministry of Health and Facilities, PhysioHome graduated from the accelerator program affiliated with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology.

According to the company’s statement, PhysioHome provides specialized technological solutions in the field of home rehabilitation, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, nutritional therapy, and personal training for adults and seniors.

The company’s team manages the entire medical care process, from assessment and training to equipping service providers, monitoring session details, providing necessary reports, and developing treatment plans.

The company’s two main products are “Ameen” and “Tifool.

” Ameen offers specialized technological solutions for home rehabilitation services, while Tifool focuses on medical and behavioral rehabilitation for children up to 12 years old. The company aims to expand its scope of work in the coming months and years through its current investment round.

PhysioHome boasts over 100 active service providers offering rehabilitation services in 9 cities and collaborates with more than 700 service providers on its platform.

Additionally, it has agreements with specialized autism centers to develop programs that integrate home and remote services and assist parents in tracking their child’s journey.

The company also deals with over 10,000 medical files, having signed over 15 agreements with private and government entities to provide health discounts and programs for employees, aiming to improve quality of life and reduce pain.

PhysioHome’s product has contributed to a 98% session attendance rate among clients.

On this occasion, Ahmed Saydam, Co-founder and CEO, stated, “At PhysioHome, we aspire to reshape the home care sector by developing technological solutions that enable the sector’s growth based on insights from customer experiences, allowing us to make homes the preferred location for non-emergency healthcare services.”

Meanwhile, Mahmoud Abu Al-Naja, Co-founder and CTO, emphasized the importance of providing a unique customer experience that combines comfort and technological innovation.

He highlighted the strong foundations of PhysioHome’s platform built on cloud computing and microservices, supported by principles aimed at continuously accelerating and improving service quality.

Abdulrahman Al-Jaffri, Partner at 500Global, praised PhysioHome for bringing medical care to people’s homes across the Kingdom and emphasized the importance of developing the healthcare system in Saudi Arabia in line with Vision 2030’s goal of enhancing quality of life for individuals and communities.
