Fork N Knife Secures $800K Seed Funding, Explores European and African Markets

In a recent development, the tech-enabled cloud kitchen startup Fork N Knife has successfully raised $800,000 in a seed funding round, attracting interest from individual angel investors and institutions outside the MENA region, according to the company’s official statement (pdf). The infusion of funds is earmarked for the company’s strategic expansion into European and African markets by the close of the year.

As disclosed by co-founder and CEO Yasser Nasr Aldin (LinkedIn), Fork N Knife has commenced negotiations for its Series A funding round, signaling the company’s ambitious growth trajectory.

Established in 2022 by Nasr Aldin and Mohamed Haroun (LinkedIn), Fork N Knife specializes in assisting restaurants in enhancing their delivery services while minimizing investment costs. The company achieves this through a network of cloud kitchens dedicated to executing operations for various food brands.

Nasr Aldin emphasized, “The cloud kitchen business domain demanded a unique model to address the real challenges faced by restaurant owners. In contrast to the common practice of reducing fixed costs in cloud kitchens, we took the unconventional approach of completely eliminating them.”
