Yango, the UAE-based global technology company, has invested in Egyptian e-commerce infrastructure startup Fincart through its venture capital arm, Yango Ventures, as part of a $2.8 million seed funding round aimed at accelerating product development, expanding the company’s workforce, and supporting its regional growth strategy.

The investment aligns with Yango’s broader strategy of backing early-stage startups developing digital infrastructure that enables small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to improve operational efficiency and scale across high-growth emerging markets.

Founded in Egypt, Fincart provides an integrated digital platform that enables e-commerce merchants to manage shipping operations, cash-on-delivery settlements, short-term financing, and customer communications through a single system.

The company initially launched as a connector between online merchants and last-mile delivery providers before evolving into an AI-powered operational platform integrated with more than 40 logistics partners, allowing businesses to streamline deliveries and monitor performance through one interface.

Today, Fincart serves more than 450 merchants, while its platform has facilitated product deliveries worth nearly EGP 1 billion (approximately $20 million).

Fincart plans to use the newly secured capital to enhance its technology platform, expand its team, establish new strategic partnerships, and accelerate its expansion across the Middle East, North Africa, and Africa.

Daniel Shuleyko, CEO of Yango Group, said SMEs grow faster when equipped with technologies that help overcome operational challenges, noting that Fincart offers integrated logistics, operational, and financial solutions that simplify business processes for merchants.

For his part, Mostafa El-Masry, Co-founder and CEO of Fincart, described Yango’s investment as a significant milestone in the company’s journey, reinforcing its vision of becoming the operational infrastructure powering e-commerce across Africa.

With $20 million in capital, Yango Ventures focuses on investing in high-potential startups across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Asia-Pacific, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Latin America.

Beyond financing, the fund provides portfolio companies with access to Yango Group’s expertise in fintech, e-commerce, smart mobility, and artificial intelligence, helping founders build scalable and sustainable businesses.

The investment also reflects growing international investor confidence in Egyptian startups developing digital infrastructure and fintech solutions, as demand for advanced logistics and financial technologies continues to rise across emerging markets.
