GAGA, a live online education platform, has announced raising $2.5 million in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Phoenix Venture Partners, with participation from a number of family offices and investors.

With this latest investment, GAGA’s total funding since inception has reached approximately $4.2 million, following an earlier $1.7 million round—reflecting strong investor confidence in the platform’s growth trajectory and its role in Saudi Arabia’s edtech landscape.

Founded by Abdullah Al-Khorasani and Eyad Alshabaan, GAGA focuses on delivering high-quality live online educational programs.

The platform has successfully built one of the region’s leading live learning ecosystems, offering more than 1,000 educational programs across over 200 academic and skill-based subjects.

It operates within a digital environment that connects students with teachers, emphasizing real interaction and improved learning outcomes.

GAGA is also investing in AI-powered technologies to assess student performance and identify learning gaps, making the learning experience more interactive while enabling personalized learning paths that combine teacher expertise with artificial intelligence capabilities.

Commenting on the milestone,Abdullah Al-Khorasani , Co-founder and CEO of GAGA, said:
