  • Apolitical is presenting an integrated range of tools, insights, and new publications aimed at empowering government employees during its participation in the World Governments Summit, while preparing to launch Edge 50, a flagship initiative.
  • It spotlights 50 pioneering initiatives that push the boundaries of what governments can achieve, in partnership with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation (MBRCGI).

Apolitical, the world’s largest digital network for government officials, is showcasing a comprehensive suite of tools, insights, and new publications designed to empower government employees and strengthen their leadership and execution capabilities in the age of artificial intelligence, during its participation in the World Governments Summit 2026, taking place in Dubai from February 3 to 5 under the theme “Shaping Future Governments.”

Through its participation, Apolitical aims to support government readiness in navigating rapid transformations, by equipping public sector leaders with practical, scalable tools that enable the effective, responsible, and safe adoption of AI.

During the Summit, Apolitical will officially launch the Arabic version of the “AI Readiness Check” via the World Governments Summit Foundation website, expanding access to one of the world’s most widely used tools for building and strengthening AI capabilities within the public sector.

The AI Readiness Check (ARC) is a simple self-assessment that provides personalized results, enabling government employees to evaluate their level of preparedness to work with artificial intelligence.

Since its launch in January 2025, more than 8,000 government employees worldwide have completed the AI Readiness Check, making it the largest global dataset on AI capabilities in the public sector.

In addition to Arabic, the tool is available in several languages, including English, French, Hindi, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish.

Drawing on this data, Apolitical has published a comprehensive analytical report titled “AI Readiness Check Insights,” offering governments and public sector leaders global insights into AI capabilities across public institutions.

The report identifies the gap between individual AI adoption and institutional readiness, and provides targeted recommendations to help governments strengthen their AI capabilities in 2026.

These tools and resources are hosted within the Government AI Campus, a trusted global center of excellence for artificial intelligence in government.

The Campus supports nearly one million government employees in leading in the age of AI through training programs, specialized tools, expert-led events, and a global peer community, with support from Google.org.

In addition, Apolitical will unveil two new and innovative AI tools during the Summit, designed to support the practical, safe, and effective use of artificial intelligence across government institutions.

As part of its participation, Apolitical will also launch “Edge 50,” a flagship showcase highlighting 50 pioneering initiatives that expand the boundaries of what governments can achieve.

This edition is released in partnership with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation (MBRCGI).

The selected initiatives and individuals were carefully chosen from around the world for their originality, multidisciplinary thinking, and proven ability to deliver tangible public impact by challenging traditional government approaches.

The World Governments Summit 2026 marks its largest leadership participation to date, bringing together more than 60 heads of state and government and their deputies, over 500 ministers, representatives from 150 governments, and leading global thinkers and experts, with more than 6,250 participants in attendance.

The Summit will feature over 445 sessions, with contributions from more than 450 global speakers, alongside 700+ CEOs from major global corporations, 87 Nobel Prize laureates, and representatives from more than 80 international, regional, academic, and global institutions.
