The new office aims to enhance data storage capabilities within the borders of Saudi Arabia, in line with various data analytics operations already being carried out regionally in Dubai.

This expansion offers customers in Saudi Arabia more options to select the geographic region that best meets their operational needs.

Snowflake’s platform also supports artificial intelligence technologies, helping businesses utilize data more effectively for making informed decisions based on secure technical insights.

Mohamed Zouari, General Manager of Snowflake for the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey, emphasized that the company’s expansion in Saudi Arabia is a key step in supporting and enabling Saudi organizations to meet local data requirements through secure and cost-effective solutions.

He added that with the local deployment on Google Cloud, organizations in Saudi Arabia will be able to leverage a fundamental data strategy to uncover deeper insights powered by AI, driving business innovation while adhering to the highest standards of data sovereignty.
