- The funding will support the expansion of the Emirati GovTech platform and accelerate the development of its AI-powered “One” system for government innovation and digital transformation.
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund (MBRIF), an initiative launched by the UAE Ministry of Finance to support innovation and entrepreneurship, has announced a financing guarantee worth AED 1.5 million for 01Gov, a UAE-based GovTech company.
The funding aims to accelerate the growth of the company’s AI-powered platform and support the UAE’s ambition to strengthen its global leadership in government innovation and public-sector excellence.
Fatima Yousif Al Naqbi, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services at the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry’s representative at MBRIF, said the fund plays a key role in advancing the UAE’s national innovation strategy by empowering high-potential innovators and providing the resources needed to scale their businesses and create sustainable economic impact.
She added that the support for 01Gov reflects the fund’s commitment to fostering innovation, accelerating digital transformation, and strengthening national capabilities that can help shape the future of critical sectors.
01Gov offers a cloud-based digital platform accessible through web and mobile applications, enabling government entities to monitor emerging global trends, conduct benchmarking studies, access international best practices, and support innovation initiatives through idea labs and continuous learning programs.
The new financing support will help the company expand its operations and further develop One, its agentic AI system, while enhancing the platform’s capabilities to meet growing demand from government clients.
Commenting on the announcement, Dr. Saeed Al Dhaheri, Partner and AI & Foresight Expert at 01Gov, said the support aligns with the company’s mission to contribute to the UAE’s vision of building AI-powered governments and strengthening future-readiness capabilities across the public sector.
