The Central Bank of Egypt “CBE” has approved FLASH to obtain its license to operate as a facilitator and coordinator of electronic payment services and card-based transactions — a step that supports Egypt’s efforts to implement more secure and fully integrated digital payment solutions.
According to press statements made by Sherine Kabesh, Co-Founder of FLASH, on the sidelines of the Cairo ICT “PAFIX” event, the application enables the seamless delivery of electronic payment services for customers and merchants, providing an advanced and integrated system that supports card payments and QR Code technology.
Users can easily pay restaurant bills and interact securely with delivery and logistics companies such as Bosta, Milez, and others.
Kabesh added that FLASH is currently focused on strengthening partnerships with major platforms and merchants, including Foodics, ACT Integrations, and Robooost, in order to deliver digital solutions capable of handling large transaction volumes while ensuring a smooth and reliable user experience.
She also noted that the application offers tailored products to support women and female entrepreneurs, in addition to its collaborations with several Egyptian banks, most notably Banque Misr and the National Bank of Egypt.
FLASH also aims to expand its network across the Middle East and Africa in the coming period.
