The Netherlands Supports Iraqi Entrepreneurs with €2.6 Million

Iraq Venture Partners (IVP) has announced that it has received financial support of €2.6 million from the Kingdom of the Netherlands for the second phase of the Orange Corners Innovation Fund (OCIF). This support will help Iraqi entrepreneurs gain technical expertise, access local and international networks, as well as direct financial support that will contribute to enhancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Iraq.

The second phase of the fund was launched at a signing ceremony held at the Netherlands Embassy in Baghdad, attended by representatives from the Dutch government, as well as representatives from Iraq Venture Partners (IVP) and other organizations focused on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.

This fund represents a significant opportunity to contribute to the development of the economic landscape in Iraq, stimulate innovation, and enhance the ability of entrepreneurs to compete in both local and global markets. It also highlights the Dutch government’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurship in the region and expanding cooperation between the Netherlands and Iraq in the field of innovation.
