Edfa Venture Capital and Business LOBBY Launch an Academy to Train Children in Entrepreneurship
The sixth edition of the series of events organized by Business LOBBY to support entrepreneurs and startups has officially kicked off, in partnership with Edfa Venture Capital, a Saudi investment fund.
Edfa Venture Capital sponsors this sixth edition of training programs delivered by Business LOBBY at the Greek Campus in Cairo. The event attracted dozens of young people and entrepreneurs who participated in specialized workshops and lectures.
The sessions began by introducing attendees to the process of pitching ideas, persuading investors of their feasibility, and providing technical and financial support for startups.
Eng. Essam Ali, CEO of Edfa Venture Capital, revealed in an interview with “entArabi” that his company has entered into a strategic partnership with Business LOBBY.
He highlighted that this collaboration is one of the initial results of the recently launched Startup Sync app, which connects investors, startups, and entrepreneurs.
Ali announced that Edfa Venture Capital , in coordination with Business LOBBY, plans to launch an academy dedicated to teaching entrepreneurship to children. The program will define suitable age groups and develop educational content tailored to equip the new generation with business knowledge.
He further explained that Business LOBBY will undergo significant development by attracting more investors and entrepreneurs, thereby fostering a stronger entrepreneurial culture in line with Edfa Venture Capital’s vision.
He emphasized that detailed announcements about the company’s strategies and initiatives will be made in the near future.
Ali stated that Edfa Venture Capital is open to collaborating with all stakeholders in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, including investors, business incubators, funds, and startups.
The company aims to create a real transformation in the sector by supporting youth and offering genuine opportunities for empowerment.
He highlighted that the partnership with Business LOBBY aims to provide added value by empowering entrepreneurs and startups, as well as refining innovative ideas from young talents.
He identified the launch of Startup Sync as a critical tool for achieving these goals.
Ali also revealed that the next edition of Business LOBBY events will require reservations to be made exclusively through the Startup Sync app.
This represents a step toward consolidating all stakeholders within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
He pointed out that Startup Sync is open to investors from all nationalities, especially from Kuwait, the GCC region, and the Arab world, providing enhanced support for startups.
In conclusion, Ali stated that Edfa Venture Capital aims to inject additional investments in 2025, with a focus on the Deep Tech sector and other priority areas, depending on the value of proposed ideas.
